Hello everyone! Hope you had a great week! It is time for a market update. As I am sure you probably already guessed, the market has slooooowed way down. The market had already slowed considerably, but over the last week we have seen even more of a drop in new listings, sales pending, and houses sold. This was to be expected! There is a lot of opportunity in a market like this! Whether you are buying or selling, there are really a lot of upsides to this winter market!
If you are wanting to list your home, it isn’t a bad time to do so. Inventory is very low, so you can expect to see more people viewing your house than you normally would this time of year. It is still very realistic to get your house under contract in under a month is you are pricing and marketing it effectively!
If you are thinking about buying a house, it is time to get serious! The market will start heating up in February. Prices will rise. The competition with other buyers will be intense. We will still have a shortage of houses! Take advantage of the cold weather. Take advantage of the fact that a lot of buyers have suspended their home sear until spring. Get out there and find your new home while the completion is taking a break!
