It had been an exciting month in November. We somehow skipped right over fall and moved into the Winter cold weather. We even had a few dustings of snow.
With November being the start to the holiday season and having things slow down a little bit. We are still in a sellers market with 1.3 months of inventory. A balanced market would have 5-6 months inventory.
Last month there were 579 homes sold within Spokane county on 1 acre or less. 775 6 months ago 574 a year ago.
The average days on market are 26 vs 30 DOM from 6 months ago.
The average house price was $283,693 for November.
Looking ahead into December it is still a sellers’ market with having such low inventory, but what a great time to go looking as a buyer. Your chances of avoiding multiple offers the first couple days it goes live on the MLS are definitely in your favor.
December is a time to continue feeling thankful for what you do have, and spending a lot of time with family.
Make sure you check out the winter actives going on around town. Especially the ice ribbon in River Front Park, check out the light display in Liberty Lake, and go Skiing/Snowboarding on one of the 4 ski hills we have within an hour and a half of Spokane.
Not sure what to do in our beautiful city go pick up an Inlander magazine, check out FB events and you can easily fill your social calendar with many fun things to do this month.
If you would like more information please give me a call, I’d love to sit down with you and help you Buy or sell your home.
