YES! You should use a Realtor while you're in the selling process or even the buying process. I am going to list out the pros to why you should use a Realtor and why it's worth the money. I might list some cons to make it fare but let's be real, it's dumb not to use a realtor.
Realtor's full-time job (or should be) is helping in assisting you to list your home. They will schedule showings, answer calls, advertise, hold open houses, do everything for you. You as a seller just have to sit back and let them do the work. Realtors have your best interest in mind. If you have a full-time job it will be hard for you to coordinate those showings and might put your home sell in jeopardy.
Realtors have the legal access to all the listing paperwork. They will review contracts with you and help you understand each form if need be. They provide knowledge and experience that you as the seller might not have. They can guide you through this emotional transaction. You won't have to hire an attorney to go through paperwork.
Because Realtors are experts in the firled they know a lot about the targeted residential area and will establish the right price for your property. Find an agent that knows the market's mood swings. They will be able to guide you through rough patches if they come about during your deal.
