If you are wanting to sell your home but can’t seem to find a new home you love, let alone be able to have your offer accepted with a home sale contingency? Well, I have some great news for you! Its super tough out there to find a house that screams “THIS IS YOUR HOME” and if you do, more than likely you’ll be competing with other buyers for that same house. Unfortunately, if you still have a house to sell this can be hard to do in this current sellers’ market here in Spokane, WA. One of the options you may or may not have thought of is new construction. Do you have the patience to wait 6-12 months to move into your dream home? If the answer is no, then I have some great news for you!
D.R. Horton is one of our Nation’s largest residential home builder and they are here in the Spokane area. They have communities in Cheney and the greater Spokane area and what sets them apart from other local builders is that they have the buying power to keep costs down, professional designers that hand select each of the home’s finishing packages, AND if it couldn’t get any better, they have the ablility to build a home in relatively quicker than any other builder in our area.
If you have a home to sell D.R. Horton will accept offers with a home sale contingency and accept VA home loan offers as well. They have the reputation of having excellent customer service, which is their number 1 priority, as well as, building homes that will last for generations to come. While touring their homes in the new community outside of Cheney earlier this week I was pleasantly surprised at the openness and amount of natural light that gave the home comfortable warmth on the chilly October morning. One of the things that I’m not a fan of in homes is not having enough natural light and feeling claustrophobic. All the home models we toured all had 9-foot ceilings, extra wide hallways, tons of windows, and elegant upgraded finishes.
The little extras this builder had as basic options really surprised me. In this particular community all the home came standard with 5 burner gas stove/ranges, upgraded countertops, window coverings, and a smart home system that they teach each of the buyers how to use to maximize the ease and comfort of enjoying your new home.
