Best in Show Make your home stand out to buyers with these tips and tricks.
The real estate market is moving quickly in Spokane for both buyers and sellers alike. What does that mean if you are planning on listing your home soon? You need to stand out in the crowd to attract the buyer that works best for your needs. While sellers do have the advantage in this market, it is still important to make your home shine to bring the best buyer. ????
Make the buyer feel welcomed. They need to make the emotional connection and feel the home could be their own. Be ready to show your home at any time of day. ????
Keep the smells to a minimum.?????? You may enjoy your seasonal scented candles or air fresheners. However, this fragrance can be offensive or trigger an allergic reaction in some people. Buyers will often think the worst and that you may be attempting to mask an underlying problem.
Bring on the bright lights! Now is your time to shine!???? Turn on the lights and create a mood that would make anyone feel at home. Use your fireplace to really set the mood. Open the window coverings to allow natural light into the home. If you have an unsightly fence or neighbor outside of the window then do the opposite, keep those windows closed for now. ????
Keep the temperature comfortable. If you want the buyers to linger and feel comfortable adjust the settings to a comfortable temperature for any season. Don’t make them sweat or reach for a sweater! ????
Up the professional showing level with decorative tableware. Don’t forget the wine glasses and beautiful folder napkins. ???? Make this the most inviting table even if it never looks like this for your family.
Be sure to have your agent follow up with any and all showing to acquire feedback on your home. There could be a couple things that people are noticing that you need to pay attention to when attracting the right buyers. Your agent should be able to provide you open and honest feedback to help you achieve the goals of your home sale.
