1 Great curb appeal! Nothing beats a first impression and pulling up to a home that makes you want to see more. You want buyers to be wowed from the minute they pull u to the time they leave. They will be talking about your home for the rest of the day and hopefully that will lead to a nice solid offer.
2 Inviting home, free of odors! Phew nothing stinks more than entering a home and the first whiff is pet odor or worse something you can’t quiet figure out what it is. Buyers will either run away or spend the whole time trying to figure out why your house smells. You want someone to walk in and take a deep breath and say that smells so good I wonder what it is. I want that smell in my home.
3 Charming interiors! Release the budding interior designer within. Now is the time to neutralize your homes palate color but at the same time implementing cute little décor pieces that make everyone wonder if they can keep your homes design.
4 Clutter free home! Start decluttering and minimizing what you have in your home. It will not only make moving easier but will impress the potential buyers of all the space you have in your home.
5 Great outdoor space! BONUS!! Create extra space outside for all year-round use. People are utilizing these extra spaces all the time. It will set your home apart from all the others when they see how much your home has to offer.
6 Clean Your Home! Clean your home like the in-laws are coming. Every inch of your home needs to sparkle and be free of dirt and grime. You may think those dog nose kisses on the front window are cute but potential buyers wont.
7 Easy to be shown! This may be a no brainer to wow potential buyers but, sellers quickly realize buyers like to see homes as soon as they can. Some may even drive by before calling their agent and they may request a showing within 5 minutes. Always be ready to leave, the easier your home is to show they quicker it will sell and impress potential buyers that need to get in quickly
8 Maintaining your investment! One overlooked detail that can really wow a potential buyer, sellers maintain your home. Buyers notice that the furnace has not been maintained, the door that is hard to open and has worn a hole in the trim for years of not being correctly hung. Has the caulking around the tub cracked years a go and the flooring is now buckling? Make a good impression to get top dollar from buyers by keeping your home in tip top shape and doing these little quick repairs as soon as they are needed.
9 Priced Right! Nothing bets showing a home and it is priced right, not too low to invoke a serious bidding war, and not too high no one wants to make an offer.
10 Great neutral color! Neutralize the color palate of your home. If the walls have a bold accent wall or you had a child who loved neon green now is the time to neutralize and paint those walls. Leave the bold color choices to accent pillows or maybe even a work of art to trim the walls.
